Briana Hardyman’s “Shake The Earth” delivers soul, grit, and grace in this refreshing Alt. Country EP

January 31, 2019 ( Nashville, TN)

Briana Hardyman’s “Shake The Earth” delivers soul, grit, and grace in this refreshing Alt. Country EP Nashville, 1/2019-Heralded Nashville veteran producer/writer Chip Hardy (Patty Loveless, Loretta Lynn) and Alt. Country crooner Briana Hardyman have teamed up and given us their first sample of what sounds like an iconic musical partnership. Baring influences from early Fleetwood Mac and modern alt. country masters like Lucinda Williams, “Shake The Earth” pays homage to the unflinching honesty of Americana songwriting and the catchy melodies of the 70’s cross genre rock era. With an all-star team of musicians including Tim Grogan-drums (Aaron Tippin, Chris Hillman), Greg Foresman-electric guitar (Martina McBride, Bret Michaels), Mike Waldron-acoustic guitar (Martina McBride, LeeAnn Womack), Dane Bryant-keyboards (Raul Malo, Olivia Newton-John), Rod Lewis-bass (Gary Allan, Chris Cummings), Marcia Ramirez-vocals (Reba McEntire, Rodney Crowell), and Adam Cunningham-vocals (‘The Voice’, Cole Swindell), we are indulged with impressive craftsmanship and impassioned musical freedom. This group captures a cohesive magic eerily similar to the early recordings captured in early Muscle Shoals soul sessions. “Shake The Earth” leaves the listener craving more…here’s hoping this is only the beginning of the magic captured by Briana Hardyman and producer Chip Hardy.
