Danny Strimer Releases "Doesn't Mean a Thing" Single

The dreamy danceable track is the first single from his critically acclaimed New Love Songs | Bossa Nova & Beyond album

(Nashville, Tennessee)

Ron Wynn, The Nashville Scene - "Vocalist-guitarist Danny Strimer expands his repertoire into the realm of jazz and numbers influenced by the Great American Songbook on his most recent release. It’s a delightfully sung and well-played 10-tune selection of originals, predominantly devoted to celebrating love’s joys and beauty. Strimer’s lush acoustic guitar support is framed in fine arrangements..." Bill Piburn, Fingerstyle Guitar Journal - “...a wonderful collection that could easily be called ‘New Standards.’ ”

“After doing a good amount of writing and performing pop and country songs, I have spent the last 15 years studying jazz with private teachers and in classes at the Nashville Jazz Workshop,” Strimer says.

“Through the songwriting classes I took … there, I was finally able to begin putting it all together for composing in classic song forms.” - Danny Strimer, International Musician
