Greg C. Brown Unleashes Powerful New Single “Phobos”

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

American Composer Greg C. Brown Releases New Instrumental Single “Phobos” — First Glimpse of Upcoming Album Solar Winds

CULPEPER, VA — May 9, 2025 — Acclaimed American performer and composer Greg C. Brown announces the release of his latest single “Phobos”, an explosive instrumental piece and the debut single from his forthcoming 2025 album Solar Winds. Named after one of Mars’ moons—and the Greek god of fear—“Phobos” channels intense, syncopated energy to evoke feelings of chaos, suspense, and cosmic motion.

The track features searing guitar work by Brown himself, including both 7-string rhythm guitars and 6-string lead guitar, alongside powerhouse drumming by Arnaud Krakowka. The single was recorded and mixed at Red Amp Studios in Richmond, VA.

This release comes on the heels of Brown’s 2024 chamber music album Venezia, and represents a stylistic shift into heavier, more electrified territory.
