Happy Curmudgeons Release New Single In Advance of 2nd Album - 'Jack Russell'

"Jack Russell" , a song about a fictional bounty hunter, is released in advance of the Happy Curmudgeons second album, 2nd Chances.

(Metro Detroit, MI)

About "Jack Russell"

"Jack Russell" is just one of the great songs that will be featured on the Happy Curmudgeons upcoming second album, 2nd Chances. In the tradition of Americana music, "Jack Russel" tells the tale of a fictional bounty hunter in the old wild west whose weakness proves to be dire.

"Jack Russel" is a country version of Bad Leroy Brown. He is a tough character whose fame is known, but letting his guard down for a moment proves to be fatal. The theme that runs through Jack Russell is "They Knew What They Had To Do."

Mark Byerly of the Bob Seger Band produced their second album including Jack Russell and 2nd Chances, both singles released in advance of the upcoming album.

"Old Jack Russell was a real cruel dude, nothing in the world that he wouldn't do. When it came to business, he was very shrewd. But Old Jack Russel knew what to do, he knew - just what to do. Always kept a gun right by his side, didn't care if you were wanted dead or alive. Ready to cut you down to size, Old Jack Russell was ready to rise. He knew - Just what to do" - Lyrics to "Jack Russel" by Happy Curmudgeon.
