About Tommy Chappell Tommy Chappell (aka TN’T, Trish N’ Tom, T&T) is a musician, singer, songwriter and producer based in the NYC metro and surrounding areas. Tom spent his early years as a drummer in various local bands. Later he alone with his partner Trish went on to form the indie soul band TN’T(Trish N’ Tom). Though his roots run deep in southern soul, R&B and gospel, his musical influences cover a wide spectrum. Rock, jazz, house, hip hop, country western and any musician, artist playing the music they want to play.


Tom along with his soul mate Trish began making noise on the local New York City indie soul scene in 2003. They went on to record three LPs, “Sweet Like Honey”, “Something Good”, “Don’t Let Go” and various singles in between. Their live performances have been witnessed by audiences up and down the east coast of the U.S. across the Atlantic Ocean in the UK, as well as many local clubs in the NYC metro and surrounding area. Trish was diagnosed with brain cancer and shortly afterwards lost her battle with the disease in 2016.


Besides TN’T Tom has worked extensively with other notable songwriters and producers, Johnny Ray Reid of (70's early 80's funk band Crown Heights affair, France Jolie) Kenny Nix songwriter, producer (Heartbeat, Funky Sensation, West End Records). Tom is also composing and working with director Joseph H. James Jr., along with composers Gil Small, Robin Small, Randy Wilson, Martin Caba and Monet Dunham on a Broadway bound musical. Another recent accomplishment has been his acting debut in the indie movie “Diagnosis P.T.S.D.” Coming in 2024.
