FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Iowa City, Iowa — Musician and singer-songwriter Jamie Kearney has released Good Graces, a heartfelt and introspective track exploring the universal human need for belonging and connection. The song reflects on the isolation and desolation we sometimes feel when, despite our best efforts, we simply cannot fit in.
Good Graces is one of four songs featured on Kearney’s debut self-produced solo EP. The track showcases her layered songwriting and emotive delivery, blending warm acoustic textures with pedal steel, electric guitar, and subtle synths.
The song was brought to life with contributions from a talented ensemble of musicians and engineers:
Jamie Kearney – producer, songwriter, acoustic guitar, vocals, recording
Matt Kearney – electric guitar, bass, synthesizer, recording
Dustin Busch – pedal steel
Eric Madison – drums
Dustin Duwa – drum recording and mixing engineer
Travis Huisman/Catamount Studio – mastering engineer

Beyond her solo work, Kearney is known as the co-founder of the Iowa City group Pigs and Clover, which is currently working on a new album slated for release early next year. Drawing on her background in poetry writing, Kearney brings a lyrical depth to her music that resonates across genres, blending folk roots with contemporary sensibilities.
