The Album Hope of Angels has been under the way for 1 year. Karen Salicath recorded the project live on her Steinway Grand to give her composition a special sound. This is Salicath's 7th Album. The Album Hope of Angels is inspired by Angels and their energy and messages of Hope, Peace, and Compassion which the world needs so much right now, especially the millions of people in Ukraine.
It includes 53 minutes of tranquil piano music;12 new Piano Compositions; Angel Gabriel is the messenger of Peace Love & Compassion; Angel Arcadia is in harmony with nature, Angel Serapiel is the angel of purification; Angel Haniel is joy; Angel Sandalphon and Angel Kamael are of music; and Angel Rafael is for healing.
This has been a long journey for Karen Salicath. It came after an accident, a head injury, and a near-death experience. Her recovery took 3 years, into 2015, and after that she was suddenly able to play the piano even though she had never played piano before! She is an autodidact, hearing all this music as it came to her. Since then, she has made 7 albums and performed in Carnegie Hall 7 times. Her next concert is June 12 in Carnegie Hall in the big hall, Sterns Auditorium.
Last year my latest album Sound of Angels was chosen for the first ballot of the Grammy for "Album of the Year" and "Best Contemporary Instrumental Album." Her music is Tranquil Meditative Piano music, this music heralds from her head injury and has healing power. She receives the music directly from dreams and wakes up very early in the morning to record it live, on her 80 year-old Steinway Grand Piano, which gives it this special sound.

"Entirely instrumental, "Angel Kamael" showcases Jamali's faculty for improvisation. Her left-hand ties things together as it plays a steady stream of arpeggios creating a hypnotic, drone-like effect, while her right-hand tickles out a mournful melody in the upper register. At times, I detect a repeating theme with the right hand as it stabs out a melancholic sequence of repeating notes. I can imagine a singer belting out the three notes that serve as a constant throughout the piece. A piece like this seems more than appropriate as a backdrop to a silent film. About Karen Salicath
Karen is a professional multi award-winning composer, pianist, and professional American artist, for the last 30 years, born in Denmark, living and working in NYC & Florida, and a voting member of the Recording Academy. It wasn’t until an accident that caused a head injury and a near-death experience that Karen started to play music. Previously unable to play the piano, the head injury amazingly opened up a new world for Karen, and she began to play beautiful and meditative music. This music healed her. The music puts the listener into a relaxed state of consciousness.
The accident occurred in 2012 and after a long recovery in 2015, she began to hear music in her dreams and decided to record and play what she was experiencing. After 5 years of playing, the result is 7 beautiful albums and 2500+ music compositions and more than a million listeners; her latest album Sound of Angels was up for Grammy consideration in 2021 in the categories "Album of the Year" &"Best Contemporary Instrumental Album" & "Best Music Video" with the music piece "In Water." The Album “Sound Of Angels” is Inspired by the Angels . Karen is a semifinalist In Piano Performance and Composers by the American Prize 2022, and a 3rd Place winner of the American Prize in Piano Performance, 2021 Karen is also a multiple-time winner of the American Protégé International Competitions in the category of "Romantic Music", "New Music Talent", and "Piano and String" (2018-2019-2020). And a selected semi-finalist for "Best performance" and for "Composers" by "The American Prize" (2019, 2020 and 2021). She has performed solo ad Carnegie Hall, 7 times in 2018-
2019 all with her compositions.
