"Teach Me" was written and recorded by Leah Hinton & Thomas Stewart IV. It was produced by Leah Hinton & Franklin Rankin (who also played live guitar on the song). This song is about relationships. "Teach Me" is about asking the one who loves you most how to sincerely and properly return that love. You may ask your creator, your family member, your spouse, or any loved one's reciprocation of love . The lyrics are about love and relationships, growth, patience and understanding. It's about learning all about the one you love and showing them that you love them. It's a beautiful inspiration.

About Leah Hinton:

Leah Hinton is a singer/songwriter, musician, entertainer and teacher. She is a graduate of the prestigious Berklee College of Music.  In 2018,  Leah was a New England Music Award's 2018 Jazz Act of the Year Nominee. Her music seamlessly combines the smooth tones of Jazz and Soul. Her latest EP, SonKissed, is Jazz influenced music infused with Neo-Soul vibes, containing positive messages about love and life.

Hailing from Henderson, North Carolina, Leah grew up singing in school, church and choirs including the Raleigh Girls Choir of Raleigh, NC. Taking singing and piano lessons nurtured her love for music. From a young age, Leah developed a fondness for jazz music as her father played jazz on the radio. Studying music led to performances in recitals, concerts and festivals.  Leah sang in the Mozart Music Festival with The Capital City Girl’s Choir in Vienna, Austria; she studied and performed abroad in Valencia, Spain; and, she graduated from Berklee College of Music in Boston.

Leah gets much of her inspiration from influences such as Jesus Christ, her parents, Sarah Vaughan, Ella Fitzgerald, Dianne Reeves, Lisa Fischer, Sammy Davis Jr., Sade, Anita O’day, India Arie, Erykah Badu, Adele, Diana Ross, Alicia Keys, Whitney Houston, Michael Jackson, Mary Mary, Robin Thicke, Antonio Carlos Jobim, Esperanza Spalding, Miles Davis, Al Jarreau, Nancy Wilson, Ledisi, Sounds of Blackness, Take 6, Gretchen Parlato, and Quincy Jones, just to name a few.

Today, Leah writes, performs, tours the East Coast, and continues to grow as an artist. Currently, she is writing and recording her new album set to be released in early 2020. Leah also enjoys giving back to her community through volunteering and performance; it is very important to her to help others as many have helped her.
