From the first beat, “Start All Over” by Texas-based rock band EDGE pulls no punches. The track kicks off with frontman Nolan J. Vander Haagen launching into vocals over a syncopated rock ensemble that is tight, intense, and urgent. Sharp guitar phrasings punctuate the rhythm like warning shots, while the percussion echoes with gravity — restrained yet relentless.

“We live in fear, we live in doubt…” — Nolan’s voice is commanding, sincere, and unflinching. His delivery rides the line between polished rock frontman and raw street protester, asking the hard questions most are afraid to confront: How do we live in a world and not see the truth? How do we live in a world that’s killing all our youth?

The chorus bursts like a dam breaking — a wall of sound that floods the senses, not with chaos, but with purpose. Urgency swells as the band leans into full sonic force, challenging listeners to wake up and speak out. EDGE’s energy isn’t just loud — it’s loaded.

The bridge keeps the momentum swirling with immersive guitar work and pounding drums that elevate the suspense. And just when the song threatens to overwhelm, EDGE strips it all back again with their artistic sensibilities in full gear. The final line, “Can we start all over?”, lands like a whispered plea in the aftermath of a storm — equal parts heartbreak and hope.

With blazing instrumentation and socially charged lyrics, “Start All Over” is more than a song — it’s a reckoning. EDGE reminds us that it’s not too late to turn things around, but only if we’re brave enough to face the truth and begin again.
