Natalie Jean Wins 2019 Josie Music Award - “Versatile Artist of the Year”

Receiving an Impressive 12 Nominations at this year’s Josie Music Awards, Natalie Jean Wins “Versatile Artist of the Year.”

Natalie Jean (Kensington, MD) has won “Versatile Artist of The Year” at the 2019 Josie Music Awards. The Josie Music Awards is one of the largest independent awards shows receiving over 23,000 submissions this year.

In addition to winning the award, Natalie Jean was a featured performer with her song, “He Loves Me” at the awards show where she performed with award-winning artists Kathryn Shipley and Levi Cob at the DP Celebrity Dollywood Theater, in Pigeon Forge, TN.

Multi-Genre Vocalist of The Year; Multi-Genre Artist of The Year ( Jazz/Blues); Vocalist of The Year; Female Songwriter of The Year (personal body of work); Video of The Year - Female (Lost & Found); Best Musical Collaboration (No Control - with Trevor Sewell); R&B Soul - Say You’ll Be Mine (written by Rebeka Rain and Mick Evans; Pop Contemporary Song – “Lost & Found” Natalie Jean (Michael Peloso and Natalie Jean songwriter); Entertainer of The Year (Multi-Genre); Music Video -Male - Michael Peloso (Featuring Natalie Jean); and Stand Album Various Artists –(Lantern Lane Music).

 

About Natalie Jean

Most recently, Natalie Jean won a Gold Medal in the category of Singer/Songwriter in the 2019 Global Music Awards, as well as a Silver Medal in the 2019 Global Music Awards for her song “What Would You Do for Love?” in the categories of Social Impact and Female Vocalist. She also won, along with her co-writer, a Silver Medal in the 2019 Global Music Awards for the month of June for lyrics, songwriter, and song. Natalie is also a Finalist in the 2019 KICMA Awards for Song of The Year for “What Would You Do for Love?” and Radio Single of The Year for “You Don’t Know Me.” Her song “He Loves Me” was also a Finalist in the 2019 Great American Songwriting Contest.

Natalie Jean has been nominated over 90 times for her music and has won too many awards to list. In 2018, she won Folk/Americana Song of The Year, for her song “The Letting Go” (a duet with Levi Moore) co-written with Michael Peloso and Female Artist of The Year Multi-Genre at the 2018 Josie Music Awards. She also won Entertainer of The Year at the 2018 KICMA Music Awards.

Most recently, Natalie eleased two singles. “Lying to Us”, a collaboration with Inches From Sin and “Love Your Own Power”, a collaboration with Lyricist Mike Greenly. A new Holiday Single, Nostalgia de Navidad, which is a cover song and Holiday

Blues which was written by Bruno Vallelunga is set to be released on September 27, 2019. Natalie Jean arranged and produced “Nostalgia de Navidad,” and it was translated into Spanish by two-time Latin Grammy Nominee, Danilo Gossain.

Natalie Jean was also recently awarded a Grant (FY20 Artists and Scholars Project Grant from The Arts & Humanities Council of Montgomery County.

Currently, Natalie Jean is working on several musical collaborations, which includes a new album. She is also a spokes-model for a new cosmetic line called ‘Confidently Ready,’ by Josie Passantino.
