Nothing but a Nightmare's New Song "Living in a Lie" is a Song About Love and Girls Ruling the World

(Philadelphia, PA)

About Living in a Lie by Nothing but a Nightmare

Nothing but a Nightmare's new single "Living in a Lie" is a cautionary tale about a guy who witnesses his best friend, to whom he's in love with, get married. During the "speak now or forever hold your peace", he objects to the whole thing. Boasting their signature alternative/ rock / pop sound, "Living in a Lie" is another success for the Pennsylvania band who is on the rise.

The song's music and lyrics were written by band members, Eddie Tamanini and David Scott. Musicians on the track also include Ryan Scott, Mark Macbride, and Max Harris. Lead vocals are performed by Tamanini. The song's lyrics take you into an emotional moment where a guy contemplates love and loss with the realization that the woman in his dreams doesn't realize he loves her.

"I had a dream about you In it we're more than friends My special weapons Can't defend these thoughts inside my head She's in love with the guy next door She must have lost her mind She don't know that the One she loves is not so hard to find" - Lyrics to "Living in a Life"
