Robin Gabrielle's release of "Providence Serenade" is an entirely new sound that emerges from a mind with one foot in the past and the other in the present.
(Cumberland, Rhode Island)
Robin Gabrielle announces the release of an entirely new sound that emerges from a mind with one foot in the past and the other in the present.
This upcoming record combines the inspiration of Robin’s hometown (Providence, Rhode Island) as well as Tommy Dorsey’s hit of the 1940’s “Manhattan Serenade.”
Straighten up, fly right, and let Robin Gabrielle take you into the past, forward into the future, and into Something Different with her first release entitled “Providence Serenade.”
The single kicks-off the new decade which is highly reminiscent of the jazzy decade of the 1920’s. This song was written and vocally arranged, believe it or not, as a homework assignment during her time at Berklee College of Music. It was recorded in Providence, RI at AlexK Productions and the music was produced by King kemet (@heiskm.t -IG).
