Steve Lutz Releases Debut Album - "Maybe I'm Your Man"

February 11, 2019 ( Chicago, IL )

Steve Lutz is a Chicago IL based singer-songwriter and guitarist, who recently recorded his debut album ‘Maybe I'm Your Man’ with the help and support of The Band of Heathens, an Americana/Rock and Roll band out of Austin Texas. Maybe I'm Your Man is a rock & roll album.

Dealing with themes including love, loss, excess and redemption, it is a sometimes raucous, occasionally moody, visceral and always immediate set of original songs that covers a fair amount of territory. It is grounded in the sound of musicians who love to play, having a great time making music together.

“Many artists may try their hand at creating “good vibes” music, yet, Steve Lutz went beyond that with his transcendentally sweet single which has been produced to absolute perfection to allow you to hear the woody, raw organic tones from the instrumentals which sit together in the soundscape. To make “When You Come Around Here” that little bit more resonant, the lyrics are indulgently charismatic and bring plenty of imagery to the single. ” -Review by Amelia Vandergast, A&R Factory

We are stoked for the release of Steve Lutz's new album, ‘Maybe I'm Your Man!’ Steve came down to Austin this past summer and we spent some time at @finishingschoolatx working on this record. Gordy produced this one with the sonic wizardry of Steve Christensen at the board. Check it out! - The Band of Heathens - It’s real honest rock n roll and it’s finally released into the world.
