The Womens Freedom Song contest is just the beginning. This inaugural event will be an annual contest. The WFS is also partnering with international female charities and affiliated organizations as well as celebrity musicians, to become involved in live events.

Some of the prizes include a consultation with award winning author and founder of the legendary Music Connection Magazine, Michael Dolan, ADK microphones, a chance to pitch your music to film, TV and record labels through Broadjam, music business directories from The Music Registry, Indie Bible, Music Industry Connection, the “101 Tips and Tricks of Successful Songwriting” book, passes to the Springboard Festival Memphis and publicity on websites and social media blasts.

The contest was partly inspired by the growing movement around the world, working towards better and equal opportunities for women. We hope to celebrate this new attitude with a song, a “female anthem.”
