About “Who Will Stop the Nuclear Clock” by Léonie Gray (ft. Matthew J. Bongiorno)

“Who Will Stop the Nuclear Clock” was written by Bruno B. Vallelunga and was recorded in 2018 by Léonie Gray on the melody in the chorus and Matthew J. Bongiorno as the narrator during the spoken word section.

The song speaks about the increase of nuclear weapons in the world in the past 70 years and how it is a threat to mankind.

The music is considered a loop track; however, the piece opens up with a nice acoustic guitar intro in a major key before switching to minor for the rest of the song.

“It is incumbent upon our world leaders to defuse any prevailing brinkmanship in the high stakes of nuclear war. Nothing less is a recipe for disaster. No one wants war! Everyone wants peace. But time is running out!"

Who Will Stop the Nuclear Clock was featured by ICAN (The International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons) at the June 16, 2018, public symposium in Buchel, Gerrmany to discuss the importance of freeing Europe of nuclear weapons. Both ICAN Deutchland and KHAN USMAN WPIP have used the song as background music in their latest videos.
