WNIR Radio Announces 'Sounds of the Season'

BWH Music Group and World National Indie Radio (WNIR) Announce "Sounds of the Season" Featuring 2021's Best Holidays Songs by Independent Artists From Around the World.

World National Indie Radio announces "Sounds of the Season Session II" featuring the best holiday songs by Independent artists from around the world. Looking for new holiday music? December 19th - January 2nd, WNIR will spin holiday and seasonal songs by Independent Artists who bring a fresh sound to the season. Listeners will be treated to new versions of traditional favorites as well as original holiday songs. Grab your cup of hot chocolate or favorite holiday cheer and enjoy the best sounds of the season starting December 4th at 7:00 p.m., Eastern Time, on WNIR.

Special Guest: "Sounds of the Season" 2021 Best Holiday Songs is being kicked of by The Chi-Lites featuring Marshall Thompson. Marshall Thompson, age 79, is the founding and last original member of the CHI-LITES who just received a 2021 Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Younger listeners may know Marshall's congas on Beyonce's "Crazy in Love", backup vocals on Jay-Z's "December 4th", and the Rolling Stones just released a Chi-Lites tune "Trouble's -a-Comin.'" The Chi-Lites' scored eleven top 10 R&B hits and charted 21 songs in the Billboard Hot 100 Pop Chart. Their major hits came in 1971 and 1972, "Have You Seen Her" and "Oh Girl", the latter becoming a #1 single on the Billboard Hot 100. Each sold over one million copies. WNIR is honored to have Marshall Thompson kick-off this special.
