“Ain’t It Good To Be In Love”?—Yes, it is!! From the Joey Stuckey Trio

February 1, 2019 (

In celebration of Valentine’s Day 2019 and the release of their forthcomming release “In The Shadow of the Sun”, the Joey Stuckey Trio is pleased to present the world premiere of “Aint It Good To Be In Love” during the month of love as part of the special love songs feature on National Indie Radio (WNIR) - This track was written by Joey and his dear friend Charlie Hoskyns of the UK band The Popes and their version under the name of “Joey Stuckey and the Shadow Bandits” was released summer of 2017. Sadly, Charlie passed away in September of 2017. Joey and the guys love the song so much they wanted to include a new version on the 2019 release “In the Shadow of The Sun” featuring a 30-voice middle school choir and legendary trumpeter Al Chez of Tower of Power and the Paul Shaffer band. The song is lyrically presented from Joey’s experience with the love of his life, his wife Jennifer. The couple will have been married 16 years this coming June. It is also a love offering to Charlie, keeping his memory and musical spirit alive.

This is one of those songs with which you can’t help but to dance and sing along. With its catchy chorus, great rhythm section and powerful lead vocals, the veteran producer and recording engineer Joey Stuckey has another chart topper on his hands. The full-length Album will be released on March 29th on all digital retail outlets and in Macon, Georgia, at the CD release concert at Amici’s.
