FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Kansas City, KS — Independent artist Gavin Woodworth, performing under the name The Bittersweet Millennium, announces the release of his debut album Sleepless Nights Yet Still Dreaming, arriving October 24 on all major streaming platforms.

The record captures the surreal intersection of insomnia, dreaming, relationships, and life’s inner turbulence, inviting listeners into a deeply reflective world shaped by sleepless nights and emotional honesty. Drawing inspiration from The Beach Boys and Panda Bear, Woodworth fuses lush harmonies, layered instrumentals, and experimental textures into a sound both nostalgic and new.

A Conceptual and Emotional Landscape

Written and produced entirely by Woodworth, Sleepless Nights Yet Still Dreaming was born during a period of depression and creative awakening. “I made it through long nights when I couldn’t sleep,” says Woodworth. “It’s about what the mind creates when rest won’t come — the dreams that appear while you’re still awake.”

In advance of the debut, three standout tracks have been released including “Tomorrow,” “Turbulently Turbid,” and “Sleeping In The Car”, each exploring a different dimension of the human experience:

  • “Tomorrow” confronts depression and uncertainty, reflecting on the fragile hope of seeing another day.

  • “Turbulently Turbid” explores life’s unpredictability with a message of acceptance, expressed through the powerful lyric, “It’s easy to go with the flow.”

  • “Sleeping In The Car” delivers an instrumental journey of calm and introspection, evoking the quiet peace of drifting into dreams.

A Hands-On Creative Vision

Every sound on the album — from electric bass to electric guitar, drum machine, vocals, and production — was crafted by Woodworth himself. His DIY approach highlights his skill as a multi-instrumentalist and his dedication to capturing pure emotion through sound.

“The Bittersweet Millennium” perfectly reflects Woodworth’s artistic identity — a nod to the beauty and struggle of modern life, where melancholy and hope coexist.
