As the COVID-19 pandemic and protests broke-out around the world, The Artist ElJay didn’t allow his motivation to stop. In fact, these incidents were the catalyst and inspiration behind the name of his upcoming EP, Champion.

ElJay Williams Jr. (Born December 18th, 1983), aka El-Jay or The Artist ElJay, is an American singer, writer, philanthropist, entrepreneur, and actor.
Born the son of Veronica M. Ashley and El-Jay Williams Sr., El-Jay is a native of Kansas City, Missouri. Loyal to his roots, The Artist ElJay is destined for global success.
In late 2018, The Artist ElJay created his first full EP titled Melody.
This project was an introduction to the world of me as an artist. With songs like “Don’t Stop the Beat", “Sex”, and three other well written tracks, the audience definitely had a chance to learn the artist as an true artist." - The Artist ElJay
